Description

A creamy and nutritious chocolate chia protein pudding that’s versatile and satisfying.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups milk or plant-based milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 24 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Pour the chia seeds into a large bowl and add the milk or plant-based milk. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed and no clumps form.
  2. Sprinkle the cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, protein powder, and a pinch of salt over the mixture. Stir all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and achieve the perfect consistency.
  4. Before serving, give the pudding another good stir to ensure there are no clumps. Garnish as desired with fresh fruits, nuts, or a sprinkle of coconut flakes.

Notes

For a creamier texture, prepare the pudding a day in advance. Blend the mixture in a blender for an ultra-smooth consistency.
